About Chastain Park

Chastain Park is located northwest of Buckhead and borders the southern part of Sandy Springs. Named for famed Fulton County Commissioner Troy G. Chastain, Chastain Park is one of the few remaining lush green neighborhoods inside the perimeter of I-285. Chastain Park attracts an affluent blend of uprising professionals as well as life-long Atlantans. The average household income for this area is $100,000 as is well evident in the home prices that range from an entry level $500,000 to $8 million plus.

A little known fact about the actual Chastain Park is that it is comrised of 268 acres making it the largest park in the city. Chastain Park offers many outdoor activities such as golf, swimming, walking trails and most notably an equestrian center with horse park.

The 6,000 seat amphitheatre hosts many concerts in the warmer months. The Chastain Park Amphitheatre is known for creating magical evenings of music under the stars and is rarely upstaged by other venues as a romantic destination.
